Efficiency Maine pays cash rebates of $1,000 to $9,000 per home for qualifying heat pump installations.
- Any homeowner: $1,000 per outdoor unit, up to $3,000 lifetime
- MaineCare / HEAP / SNAP / TANF households: up to $3,000 per unit, $9,000 lifetime cap
- Moderate-income (AGI under $70K single / $100K joint): $2,000 per unit, $6,000 lifetime cap
- Federal tax credit: stack up to $2,000 on top
